Performing ArtsOur mission for QYU Performing Arts is to create safe places for students of all ages to engage with their creativity, faith and each other. We want to develop the hope and potential of each student. It has been our privilege to be able to provide consistent programming since 1982!
The life-long benefits for students who engage in the dramatic, musical, or movements arts includes increased confidence and empathy as well as the increased abilities to adapt and problem solve. Our joy is to get to know the person behind the art and to help them flourish artistically, socially, spiritually and .mentally. From summer camps to annual programs, we have several opportunities for children and youth to engage with the arts. For alumni and post high school artists, we produce a dinner theatre annually to fundraise for our arts programs. Students do not need experience to join any of our programs. |
