PARTICIPANT COMMITMENT

I understand that my participation in the Walk to Mordor is a PHYSICAL, FINANCIAL and SOCIAL commitment which will all to achieve the purpose of raising FUNDS and AWARENESS for Graphic Word:

PHYSICAL COMMITMENT
• I will take time to acknowledge (pray) for the "Mordor" darkness that YFC fights against for youth today
• I will endeavor to complete the distance I selected in my registration in the month of April
• I am aware that ask others to help cover the distance by inviting others to walk, run or bike with me
FINANCIAL COMMITMENT
• I agree to raise a minimum of $200 in pledges by asking others to sponsor me as I walk, run or bike
• If I cannot raise pledges, I agree to donate the remaining difference
• I will inform all supporters that all pledges over $20 will receive a tax deductible receipt
• I will assist QYU in the collection of support pledges if so required
SOCIAL COMMITMENT
• I will talk openly about "Mordor" and darkness that I want to fight against
• I will accurately promote the event, organization, hosts, sponsors and other participants
• I grant permission for any pictures or video I submit to be used for any legitimate purpose for the event or organization
• I will share updates of my progress to encourage and motivate others using social media and Zoom meet ups.

MEDICAL WAIVER

I know that a this event is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter and participate in this event unless I am medically able and have sufficient stamina to safely and successfully complete this event without harm or injure to myself. In consideration of the acceptance of my entry, my heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, waive, release an discharge any and all rights and claims for damages against the QYU directors and designated officials and all other participating sponsors, agents and employees of such parties for all claims of damages, demands, actions, whatsoever in any manner arising from my participation in this event.
